Notes On Letting Go
The perception of time gives us the feeling that we are moving from one point to another. That there is a direction to our process, and that we are transforming towards a certain idea or goal. There is also the possibility of not having an outcome, of letting go of expectations, what should happen or how things should be.
What if you could let go of an outcome or result, and let go of needing to know how it will turn out? Experiencing and practicing mindfulness without a goal. Nowhere to go, nowhere to get to, nothing to achieve, nothing to transform or change.
Just simply learning to rest in this moment. Without expecting anything, and not knowing what will happen.
That kind of letting go is a surrender...into the sweet love of life itself... Blissful because you are already complete and there is nothing to achieve for you to be your own nature.
Reminders from the timeless, and a reminder to not hasten so much, but to slow down...
